DROPS Hazard Inspection

REEL conducts Dropped Object Prevention Surveys by carrying out inspection on objects with the potential to fall from height. Dropped object present one of the most common causes for offshore accidents, despite the considerable effort the Oil and Gas industry has made to reduce the risks.

REEL can help prevent a potential dropped object, becoming another unwelcome safety statistic by concluding a detailed dropped object survey of hazardous areas.

We undertake a comprehensive sweep of each area to compile a detailed hazards inventory list, supplemented by photographs and area plots highlighting each piece of equipment installed at height.

Any potential dropped objects are reported and, whenever possible, the risk is rectified at the time.
