Technical Skills Competency Reviews

The Technical Skills Competency reviews focus on the specific inspection skills and qualifications of technicians. Non-destructive testing, wire rope inspection, wire rope socketing and lifting equipment inspection is reviewed with practical test samples to evidence competence on an annual basis. Additional training needs are identified from this and action plans to fill skills gaps are made. Non-destructive testing reviews are carried out on an annual basis in accordance with DNV certification and the company written practice for inspection.
